The Youth Entrepreneurship Skills Competition, or YESCOM, is a hallmark programme of KESUMA, the Association of Malay Entrepreneurs in Singapore. It was first launched in 2005 by Mr. Maidin Packer BPM, former MP for Kampong Ubi GRC and Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs. The vision is to instil an entrepreneur's spirit into the youth by targeting students from primary all the way up to the tertiary level.
This annual event has encouraged, motivated, and supported many youth participants to learn the necessary skills to become an entrepreneur. At the same time, this program has also inculcated and celebrated the value of racial harmony that we enjoy in Singapore. Every year, around four hundred students representing forty educational institutions take part in YESCOM.
After a brief hiatus, YESCOM is back with more partners joining hands as a consortium to bring you more learning, fun & entrepreneurial spirit.
